APFA Elections 2026
On 11 October 2026 the Electoral Officer declared all 15 members of the APFA Executive Committee duly elected. The declaration was made in the presence of observers from the All India Football Federation and the Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association.
About the election
What this election decides
The election filled all 15 seats on the APFA Executive Committee, the body that runs the association.
Under Article 23 of the APFA constitution, the committee is a President, three Vice-Presidents, a Treasurer and ten members. At least two of the ten must be Sportspersons of Outstanding Merit (SOM) and two must come from the State Players' Association (SPA).
At least four of the fifteen must be women, including one Vice-President, one SOM and one SPA representative.

State Players' Association
How players earn a seat
Two of the ten committee seats are reserved for the State Players' Association, and at least one of them must go to a woman. Any player aged 18 or over can join the SPA by meeting one of these four conditions.

Senior state team
Represented Andhra Pradesh at senior level, men's or women's, at least once.

Age-group football
Played five or more age-group matches for Andhra Pradesh.

State Women's League
Played at least 13 matches for an Andhra Pradesh club in the State Women's League.

National players' body
Eligible for membership of the AIFF National Players' Association.
