  • A flagship annual championship bringing together 8 clubs from 8 regions, with teams comprising local and national players.
  • The inaugural edition featured 28 matches, live-streamed on YouTube, and created huge excitement.
  • Godavari FC emerged as champions, winning ₹5 lakhs and an entry into I-League 3rd Division, paving the way toward ISL.
  • Future plans include franchisee-based promotion, modeled on the success of IPL, to attract wider attention and support for football in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Inspired by the success of ISL players, where the top 20 were auctioned for an average of ₹2.5 crore annually (2025 season).
  • APFA is launching a 3-year elite coaching camp (from July 2025) for 32 handpicked young talents from across Andhra Pradesh
  • These players will receive training, nutrition, education, and full support to prepare them for the 2028 ISL auctions and represent Andhra Pradesh with pride.
  • A unique initiative to develop football at the U-14 and U-10 levels through district-level leagues with 6 teams each.
  • APFA will provide free uniforms and footballs to motivate District Football Associations.
  • Teams will be named after global and Indian legends: Pele, Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo, Bhutia, and Chhetri.
  • Targeting 4,680 players in the first year, with weekly matches designed to be a festive family experience.
